I cracked out the most summery dress I had packed for our penultimate day in Brittany. It was warm but incredibly blustery! As usual I started the day with my super-high platformed clogs, but after a few trips and kicks to the ankles (cobbled European streets aren’t great with wooden heels), it was time to change into my glamorous flip-flops.
You really get the full width of the skirt here!

It was a very blustery trip on the whole. I apologise for the lack of hats and headgear in these recent outfit posts – you would hardly guess that I am a hat enthusiast (and maker), and that I in fact visited every single hat shop we went past in Brittany! Alas, due to the wind, nothing would stay on my head, not even with hat elastics.
Outfit details:
1940s dress – I made it from a 1947 sewing pattern
1960s handbag – Klobber in Boscombe
Acid green seed bracelet – a gift
Flip-flops – supermarket

I adore your dress. I know what you mean about clogs, I am addicted to mine and have been wearing them all summer but flats in the bag are essential :-) ps: are you around next week for yarn – ice-cream swapping? x
