KODAK ‘Friends’ commercial

Whilst I was at uni I helped to costume a film which was entered into a student competition by Kodak and won some prizes! I assisted the costume designer (Bobbie Edwards) in devising and sourcing the costumes for each look, dressed the crowd, and stayed onset as a standby. It was an absolutely freezing but bright November morning and they were filming on the end of Boscombe Pier. I still get goosebumps thinking about the cold! What’s more, I got roped in to being an extra myself. My character was ‘Girl In Pyjamas’. Trying to dress and keep an eye on a crowd for continuity is rather difficult when you are caught up in it and trying to navigate the choreography. I stick to behind-the-scenes jobs for a reason…

Here’s the final commercial. It won 1st place in the Kodak category and 2nd place as the overall winner.
