I apologise for my recent absence from this blog. I’ve been busy moving, working, rehearsing, and enjoying the sunshine. Yesterday I dosed myself up on antihistamines and spend the day in the garden re-potting a lot of my grandparents’ cacti which had overgrown and swamped their pots. I need to do a serious clear-out and plan to do a car boot sale in the near future, so they suggested that I sold some plants at the same time.
They look pretty cute though – if they don’t sell, then I know what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year!
I was also really glad to be able to get rid of a vast amount of cactus carcasses which hadn’t survived the neglect fostered when my grandparents went abroad earlier in the year. I ended up with this unmarked grave of cactus corpses which I am strangely fascinated by.
They wouldn’t let me throw out all of the dead cacti though, since they get strangely sentimental about dying plants. (They are gardeners.) This little guy is hanging on for dear life and was resuscitated with aid of a stick. Personally I think it looks ridiculous…
I have various crafts materials that I want to get rid of too – would anyone be interested in buying them off me? I have various bundles of fabric (cottons, faux fur), yarns, paints and drawing materials and craft books which I will sell at bargain prices. If there’s some interest I will sell them via this blog, just leave a comment or email me if you prefer (byanushka @ gmail.com)

Ahahahaha, I love the cactus with a walking stick – he looks just like a bent over old man! Please put a moustache on him :)
He needs a long white beard, like a stereotypical Chinese wise man
